Tata Harrier EV has been launched at an introductory price of \u20b921.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It\u2019s a familiar nameplate, now reimagined with an electric powertrain \u2014 and more importantly, a move that makes Tata\u2019s growing EV range more complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is also Tata\u2019s first AWD (or QWD) vehicle in years, and the most premium EV in its current portfolio. Bookings open on July 2, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visually, the Harrier EV<\/a> doesn\u2019t stray far from the facelifted diesel version already on sale. The changes are functional and subtle \u2014 a closed-off front grille, redesigned front bumper, new 19-inch aero alloy wheels, and minor EV-specific badging. The overall profile and proportions remain almost unchanged, except for a slight increase in length and height.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also a Stealth Edition available at launch, with all-black elements inside and out, for those who prefer a darker aesthetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step inside and the cabin feels largely familiar, but with a few meaningful updates. The standout is the 14.5-inch Samsung Neo QLED infotainment display \u2014 a segment-first. There\u2019s also a fully digital 10.25-inch driver\u2019s display, a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, and a decent 502-litre boot (plus a small frunk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The SUV runs on Tata\u2019s new TiDAL platform \u2014 a digital architecture that enables connected car tech, OTA updates, voice commands, and other smart integrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tata is offering the Harrier EV in two battery pack options \u2014 65kWh and 75kWh \u2014 with a maximum power output of 313hp and 504Nm. It comes with dual motors and an AWD layout, which is a first for Tata\u2019s EVs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    There are multiple terrain modes on offer (Normal, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock, and Custom), and four driving modes (Eco, City, Sport, Boost). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The claimed range of Tata Harrier EV is up to 622 kms, which is one of the best in the segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Well-Rounded Safety and Tech<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    On the safety front, the Harrier EV gets six airbags as standard (seven in top trims), electronic stability control, blind spot monitoring, and Level 2 ADAS. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A unique addition is the 540-degree camera system, which can help view what\u2019s underneath the vehicle \u2014 handy during off-road manoeuvres. Something that\u2019s first in the segment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    A built-in dashcam, DrivePay (for toll and charging payments), and a digital rear-view mirror round out the tech suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Tata Harrier EV Verdict<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Harrier EV doesn\u2019t try to reinvent the wheel \u2014 and that works in its favour. It retains the practicality and size of the standard Harrier, adds meaningful upgrades where needed, and introduces AWD and high-end tech features in a segment that\u2019s still maturing in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
